Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Recently our house got a few plumbing issues ( sewer, water leakage, clog) , thanks to roto rooter, we got these plumbing problems fixed quickly. Steven, Luis, and Calvin are all very knowledgeable, patient and responsive. We highly recommend the business.

Another win for Roto Rooter! I have always had good luck with RotoRooter and today they surprised me. Last time I had a problem the technician sold me a bottle of Roto-Rooter Pipe Shield for slow drains and it really works; occasionally takes 2 applications but it clears my slow drains in sinks, tubs, etc. and has saved me more than one service call. I was almost out so I sent the San Jose office an email – how can I buy more? (Not on Amazon or locally) I got a call this evening that the technician was on her way to bring it to me! No service fee, just the cost of a gallon of product. I am impressed.

I had a leaking faucet under the sink and I wanted the crawlspace under the house checked out so I called for Service yesterday. The very next day (today) service tech Sean Finnegan came over around 1:00 pm. He was incredibly friendly, very considerate of my home and my time. He worked quickly and identified the issue, repaired and replaced the necessary items and even had to go out to get a part or two and made sure not to charge me for the time he was shopping. He even took video of our crawl space as a means to provide proof and sat beside me and watched it with me describing what he had seen. He was quick, efficient, friendly and extremely informative; describing what he was doing and why and justified the pricing. Absolutely fantastic work. I’ll be sure to hire Sean Finnegan again anytime I need the work done!

Drain blocked up so I call Mr Rooter, which my neighbor recommended. Big mistake. Three trucks arrive and various personnel begin conferring. After they give me estimates ranging from $3000-7500. “The only way to be sure is replace ALL the pipes.” I say goodbye. I call Roto Rooter, Steve arrives shortly and snakes out the drain. Problem solved, all for the hourly minimum of $189.75. That’s quite a bit less than three grand, and a lot more less than $7500 — and Steve didn’t try to talk me into having any extra work done. Roto Rooter solved my problem and didn’t try to work me. I appreciate that.

heyy..fantastic experience. we had a leak coming from a pipe and valve in the basement. called roto rooter yesterday at 7 pm and dispatch answered politely and scheduled us for an appointment today, this morning. they said that the estimate was no charge. loved that part and the quick appointment. they called 30 mins prior to arrival and the plumber was on time. He was very likable and we felt confident that he knew what he was talking about and how to repair everything. he gave us a price that was a little steep but not painful and he showed us where it was on the price sheet. then, since he was prepared and had everything on his truck, he went to work and completed the job in an hour. he had to replace piping and valve. the plumber used high quality clamps instead of old fashioned soldering method. the piping was also thicker and better quality than what was there. He did an incredible job and the workmanship was second to none. we will absolutely use roto rooter again. now we can relax about the leak and feel really good about the whole experience with this company. we highly recommended them.

I called roto rooter and the same day the job was completed in 2 hours from when I called for an appt. Trey was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he did and then he did a spit inspection of all water lines and pipes in house. I was most impressed with the services I received.

They have done so many jobs on so many homes for me I have nothing but positives to say about them. From the call to schedule where you are greeted by people who are friendly and professional to the great techs they send who are available on weekends, short notice, etc. A professional organization top to bottom.

We had some plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. Auturo showed up in less than 60 mins after I placed the request. Polite, professional. Quite literally was “running” up my stairs to save time and prevent me paying for additional time. Went WAY above and beyond the call of duty. Put a new o-ring on my toilet. Caulked it. Cleaned my bathroom to the point where I was confused if I had called a plumbing company or a housecleaning company. Was dumbfounded that this type of service was still available here in the good old USA. Roto-Rooter is the company we all know…but it is becuase it hires employees like Auturo Coronado. Give this man a raise. He represents you folks very well. All in all, a simply wonderful experience!

The guy (Ricky) did a great job for cleaning out the backflow in our main pipe. They offered 6 months warranty, which is rare for a sewer line job. Coincidentally, I did need a service again after a few months, they came and honored the warranty ! To top it off, I got a complementary camera run. Great Service Company !

Was very satisfied with this service . I called and scheduled a same day appointment. The service tech Trevor came exactly in time I was told , no waiting. He is very young but very professional and friendly. He solved the problem, explained everything and advised me how to prevent to have similar problems in the future. I purchased their product for preventive care but he was out of the product, so he came back the same evening, 35-40 minutes later with the Pipe shield treatment. Very professional and friendly service, highly recommended.

First I want to say that I really tried to unclog my plumbing. I actually went a rented a motorized professional 1.25″ snake and lifted bad boy into my truck. (It was really heavy) Even after snaking out the pipe (75′) I still had stoppage. They came out reasonably quickly. I say reasonably because when there’s a sewage stoppage, tempers get short, lol. Our plumber, looked at, rubbed his chin, and said “We need to snake it from there to there”. The problem was outside and a much bigger pipe. That requires a really big snake. My plumber quoted me the new price for the larger snake. I almost soiled right there but I was desperate at this point and he says that’s the price. Yes, I felt stuck. He reassured me and said that’s the whole price, guaranteed. Ok, have at it. He opens up his truck and unfolds a small crane with a huge, man sized snake. I could see why they charge what seemed to be expensive. There was no way I could even handle a machine that heavy. AND then, this guy pops open the cap on that main line and out popped a bubblin goo that woulda made Jed Clampitt proud. That made the expense seem way more reasonable. My god of the pipes starts using that huge reamer and gave those pipes a thorough scraping. He pulled his tool out, put a new plug on the pipe, cleaned up and I paid. Honestly, while it was a bit of money, this guy earned every penny. I’d say it was an excellent value.

Rooter rooter are the best people to take care any water problems, Raymond nd ivan are some of the best people they have in Monterey County.. they are on time and take care of thing on time too.. they make you feel your problems are important nd take care of thing ASAP

Had a clogged kitchen drain on a Sunday morning with 14 dinner guests and Arturo Coronado came to my rescue. He was great. Wonderful customer service. Happy and smiling and very professional in the hot weather,while he got on the roof and unclogged the drain. He took the time to explain to me exactly what was happening and how it happened. I’ll be calling him if I have any plumbing problems in the future. A very nice young man.

I clogged the kitchen sink during dinner last night. Nasty water backed up and won’t drain on both sides. This is on Saturday 10pm. 10:30pm I google plumber near me. The 1st site that popped up and it had an online appointment. YES! I ask for the NEXT DAY 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. 10:25 am plumber arrives. His name is ANGEL from Fresno. Fitting name for my problem. Sure enough, he forces this steel pipe to clear my clog over 80 feet in!

If you need your sewer line, cleaned, really cleaned….. call Joshua and Sanjay from the Menlo Park location. We live in Burlingame on a hill with lots of trees and neighboring trees. Our plumbing is from the 50’s, part clay part iron. Our network is about 100 feet of turns and joints and three clean outs. I’ve used Roto Rooter before and have had several different plumbers come out and unclog the sewer line once a year but Joshua and Sanjay are the first ones that have ever REALLY thoroughly cleaned the line of all roots and I do mean ALL roots. They were the ONLY ones that took it upon themselves to purchase/get a chain flail to use with the water jetting. That thing CLEARED the line. Everyone else up to this point has always cleared the line, but only ‘partially’ as lots of roots still remained because the blades on the snake just couldn’t do it. So, if you need your line cleared, ask for Joshua Employee ID 6075 and Sanjay Employee ID1891. These guys ROCK!

Love this business. Had a septic issue with crap overflowing my front lawn. Called in and got a time estimate for after 5 pm. Showed up at 9:30 pm but I didn’t even care since I knew they were busy. Chris was awesome- he cleared everything quickly and even helped me clean up the toilet paper and everything else. Thanks Chris!!!!!

Woke up this morning and.. Surprise! Backed up septic drain. Called at 9 M, said the tech would be there between 10-12, guy showed up at 1030. Worked o the issue a little under an hour, got it fixed and was on his way fast. Didnt waste my day waiting at home waiting for this to be resolved. Happy customer!
